Honda Civic is coming with a facelift

Ana sayfa / News

The Honda Civic has received a minor facelift for the 2025 model year. This update, which has achieved significant sales figures in Turkey as well as globally, features minor exterior changes, particularly notable.

The Civic’s upper and lower grilles have been redesigned, and front fog lights are no longer included. Honda stated that the new-generation LED headlights provide adequate visibility in foggy conditions, so they were removed entirely.

The facelift also added new 18-inch wheels. While the interior changes are subtle, some minor touches have been made. Wireless charging is now standard on all trim levels, and higher-end models also include a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a heated steering wheel.

Honda states that the updated Civic was designed in response to customer feedback. While the hybrid version has no technical changes, a new blue color option, “Seabed Blue,” is available exclusively for this model.

Alongside this update, the Civic Type R is also back in the spotlight with a special edition. Announced to be produced in just 40 units for the European market, the Civic Type R Ultimate Edition stands out with its white body, red stripes, and carbon fiber rear spoiler. However, no engine modifications were made to the vehicle.

Like the current model, the Ultimate Edition features a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine. This engine, producing 324 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque, sends its power to the front wheels and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The model’s 0-62 mph time remains at 5.4 seconds. The vehicle’s centrally positioned triple exhaust outlets remain the same as before.

The interior features red floor mats, a metal Type R badge, and carbon fiber accents, while the black roof enhances the model’s sporty appearance. The Civic Type R Ultimate Edition, which comes with a special gift box, stands out as a model that continues Honda’s collectible, limited-edition strategy.
